My name is Madison Born and raised in Southern California, I have always been a creative. My grandmother Evelyn Zoe (rest in peace), was an amazing weaver. She taught me how to sew, crochet, and work with needle art. This is where my fascination with weaving began. Since a young age, I was always working on some type of weaving pattern- with yarn or beads. As I grew older, this art always stuck with me in many different ways. It wasn’t until I discovered string art that a fire was lit inside of me. I remember seeing it and saying to myself “I can do that”. I got the tools and everything I needed to make such an art that same day and after that I never stopped. I started doing string art in 2020.
